Practitioner-grade supplements can be incredibly beneficial — but they aren’t appropriate for everyone. Before access to practitioner-only products is approved, a pharmacist-led Wellness Safety Review is completed — included with Root Guided Membership or completed on its own.
Our licensed clinical pharmacist reviews your health information to identify potential medication interactions, contraindications, allergy concerns, and other safety considerations that may affect supplement use. This review helps ensure that practitioner-grade supplements are appropriate based on the information you provide. If additional clarification or discussion is needed, we’ll contact you before access is approved.

Yes. Both memberships are month-to-month and can be cancelled anytime. There are no long-term contracts.
Can I upgrade from Essentials to Guided?
Yes. Members can upgrade anytime for the included Wellness Safety Review, member pricing on practitioner-guided brands, and pharmacist-guided support.
Can I downgrade from Guided to Essentials?
Yes. Access to practitioner-only brands is tied to your completed Wellness Safety Review — not your membership — so downgrading does not remove it.
Why do some brands require a Wellness Safety Review?
Some brands require professional oversight before purchase. Guided Membership includes a pharmacist-led Wellness Safety Review that screens for interactions and contraindications and grants access only after pharmacist approval. A membership is not required — any registered account holder can also complete the Wellness Safety Review on its own to unlock practitioner-grade brands.
Is the Wellness Safety Review medical care?
The Wellness Safety Review assesses whether practitioner-grade supplements are appropriate and safe based on the information you provide. It is not individualized advice and does not replace care from your physician or licensed healthcare provider.
How much do members save?

How does pricing work?
