Yes. Root Cost Meds is a division of Movement Health, LLC. Movement Health focuses on patient advocacy, care navigation, pharmacist consultation, and education for people managing complex health needs. You do not need to be a Movement Health patient to become a Root Cost Meds subscriber.

No — a subscription is not required to purchase everyday wellness brands. Registered account holders can order them at standard pricing, set per brand. A subscription adds subscriber pricing — a savings of 15-20% compared to standard pricing, depending on the brand — applied automatically at checkout, and Root Guided adds pharmacist-guided access to practitioner-only brands after a completed Wellness Safety Review. Practitioner-only brands can also be unlocked without a subscription by completing the Wellness Safety Review on its own.

Root Guided includes everything in Essentials, plus a pharmacist-led Wellness Safety Review, medication interaction and contraindication screening, pharmacist approval before practitioner-only access, access to practitioner-guided brands where appropriate, and priority subscriber support.

Any registered account holder can complete the pharmacist-led Wellness Safety Review™ — no subscription required — and practitioner-grade brands unlock for purchase once pharmacist approval is complete. Root Guided subscribers have the review included with their subscription, along with subscriber pricing (save 15-20% vs standard pricing) and priority subscriber support. Yes. Subscriptions are month-to-month and can be cancelled anytime. There are no long-term contracts.

No. Root Cost Meds is built around transparent pricing. Subscription pricing is clearly stated, and product pricing is explained before purchase.

Yes — but subscriptions are held one at a time. To switch plans, first cancel your current subscription from your account. Once your cancellation is processed, you can join the other subscription. Access to practitioner-only brands is tied to your completed Wellness Safety Review — not your subscription — so switching plans does not remove it.

Choose Root Essentials if you want access to everyday wellness brands and transparent pricing without practitioner-only products. Choose Root Guided if you want the pharmacist-led Wellness Safety Review included with your subscription, along with subscriber pricing on practitioner-guided brands.

Certain manufacturers regulate when exact product pricing may be displayed — product prices appear at the stage permitted by the applicable manufacturer.

Root Cost Meds Total Cost is the cost assigned to sourcing, processing, and providing a product through our platform before the Subscriber Service Fee, shipping, and applicable taxes are added. It may account for the product and the operational expenses associated with making it available through Root Cost Meds. It should not be interpreted as a manufacturer’s published wholesale price.

The 15% Subscriber Service Fee is Root Cost Meds’ standard service component. It supports our platform, customer assistance, pharmacist-led safety resources, administrative operations, and continued access to trusted professional brands. Manufacturer requirements may affect how individual products are displayed or offered.

No. Shipping is charged separately so product pricing remains transparent. Shipping is based on actual shipping costs and may vary by vendor, destination, package size, and fulfillment method.

Some products may ship directly from different manufacturers. If an order contains products from multiple vendors, shipping may be calculated separately for each vendor.

Root Cost Meds meets that requirement through a pharmacist-led Wellness Safety Review — available to any registered account holder with no subscription required — with pharmacist approval before access.

The pharmacist-led Wellness Safety Review and pharmacist-guided supplement education are provided by Kyle Thorner, PharmD, BCCP, in accordance with the services offered through Root Cost Meds.

The Wellness Safety Review is a pharmacist-led evaluation available to any registered account holder — no subscription required — and included with every Root Guided Subscription. A licensed clinical pharmacist reviews your health information — medications, allergies, and medical history — to screen for interactions, contraindications, and other safety considerations, then approves whether practitioner-grade supplements are appropriate before access is granted. It is updated every 6–12 months, or whenever significant changes to your health or medications occur.

The Wellness Safety Review assesses whether practitioner-grade supplements are appropriate and safe based on the information you provide. It is not individualized supplement advice or medical care, and it does not replace diagnosis, treatment, prescription management, or advice from your physician or licensed healthcare provider.

No. Root Cost Meds does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Information provided through the website, subscriptions, educational content, and pharmacist-guided support is for educational and informational purposes only.
